Whale is a creative studio and brand apparel by Rakeem Russell.

Rakeem wanted to create a shoot that would launch WHALE STUDIO® EDITORIAL.

Charlton lido in South London was the ideal location for the shoot, a community pool with a homely feel, perfectly matching the ethos of Whale.

We were able to shoot throughout the complex, using the architecture of the space to its full potential whilst having real life taking place around the shoot.

When the shoot was completed the visuals were handed over so retouch could begin.

With over 15 years worth of experience in the creative advertising industry, I have built up my skill set working for large agencies as well as freelancing.

The many projects I have worked on have allowed me to gain an understanding of what clients want and the best way to deliver to their requirements. I have worked on a vast range of projects involving digital and print production, animation, retouching, and many more, all the while adhering to brand guidelines and staying true to the brand identity.
